Job Location : Nairobi , Kenya.

Key Responsibilities.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
- Consolidated financial statements for the group, ensuring accurate intercompany reconciliations and eliminations.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial report reviews.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and collaborate with the treasury team for cash flow management.
- Oversee cash management, including forecasting, liquidity planning, and banking relationships.
- Ensure proper documentation and accounting for related party transactions and intercompany balances.
- Maintain internal controls over accounting and treasury processes to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, focusing on risk management.
- Ensure tax compliance, including VAT, corporate income tax, and payroll tax filings.
- Prepare audit schedules and assist external auditors during annual audits.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accounting and treasury functions.
- Supervise and mentor junior accountants, providing guidance and professional development support.
Qualifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA Finalist with 6-7 years of experience in general accounting and financial management.
- Must have worked in a senior accounting capacity, overseeing financial operations.
- Strong knowledge of tax compliance, audits, and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Experience in the Real Estate sector is a strong advantage
