Position:Loan Officer.

Location:Nairobi.

Job Summary

Ensure targets for the month are achieved by bringing in new loans, and timely disbursement of loans as per targets given.

Duties and Responsibilities.

• Marketing of the company products
• Lead generation,On-boarding new customers and doing proper data entry of the same.
• Develop an overall disbursement strategy to achieve the set target.
• Maintaining and retention of clients.
• Conduct thorough business and home appraisals,Reactivation of dormant clients.
• Demand and enforce repayment of the assigned portfolio and achieve set targets.
• To key in follow up interactions on all accounts.
• To follow up on zero payments.
• Collections of all active loans
• Ensure loans are cleared on or before the due day.
• Champion of retention and repeat clients (active clients)
• Ensure proper asset listing and valuation are done.
• Provide pin locations for clients.
• Ensure proper appraisal of business and home is done.
• Daily execution of debt follow-up by phone, visits, and recovery.

Skills And Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma  in finance, accounting, or a related field. 
• Relevant certifications or professional qualifications in credit analysis are a plus.
• Proven experience as a Loan Officer or similar role in a financial institution.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information and assess credit risk.
• In-depth knowledge of credit evaluation techniques, loan underwriting principles, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions within established guidelines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using financial analysis software and MS Office applications.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive customer information ethically.
• Understanding of market trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies in credit analysis and lending
